Guru Gobind Singh Ji, born in Patna in 1666, was the tenth and last human Guru of the Sikhs. His life was marked by immense spiritual depth, literary brilliance, and unmatched valor. After the martyrdom of his father, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, he rose as a fearless leader to uphold righteousness and protect the oppressed. In 1699, he founded the Khalsa Panth — a spiritual brotherhood bound by courage, equality, and divine duty. A gifted poet and philosopher, he composed spiritual texts like the ‘Dasam Granth’ and taught the message of inner purity and external strength. Guru Gobind Singh Ji sacrificed all four of his sons and still stood unshaken, embodying the spirit of Chardi Kala — eternal optimism. Before leaving his physical form, he bestowed eternal Guruship to the Guru Granth Sahib, declaring it the living Guru. His legacy is one of divine strength, devotion, sacrifice, and eternal guidance.
