संत पलटू दास का जन्म फैजाबाद में एक साधारण जुलाहा परिवार में हुआ था, लेकिन उनके भीतर एक महान आत्मा बसती थी। कबीर की परंपरा में उन्होंने बाहरी आडंबर, जातिवाद और पाखंड को नकारते हुए आत्मिक भक्ति का मार्ग अपनाया। उनके भजन आत्मा के दर्पण जैसे हैं—कोमल शब्दों में गहरी सच्चाइयों को प्रकट करते हैं। उन्होंने सिखाया कि ईश्वर मंदिरों में नहीं, हर जीव के भीतर बसते हैं। पलटू दास ने तर्क पर प्रेम, ग्रंथों पर अनुभव, और ऊँच-नीच पर मानवता को प्राथमिकता दी। उन्हें कट्टरपंथियों का विरोध भी सहना पड़ा, लेकिन वे सच्चाई के पथ से डिगे नहीं। उनका जीवन करुणा, साहस और परमात्मा की अनुभूति का संदेश है।
Sant Paltu Das was born in Faizabad in a humble weaver family, yet he carried within him the light of a sage. Like Kabir before him, he rejected outer rituals and caste discrimination, choosing instead to teach the path of pure inner devotion. His bhajans are like mirrors to the soul—gentle, poetic, yet profoundly powerful. He reminded people that God dwells not in temples, but in every heart. Paltu Das called for love over logic, experience over scripture, and humanity over hierarchy. Despite facing threats from orthodox groups, he never stopped sharing his truth. His words became the voice of the voiceless, and his fearless compassion continues to guide seekers even today.
