Modern saint-philosopher who took India’s spiritual message to the worldस्वामी विवेकानंद, श्रीरामकृष्ण परमहंस के प्रमुख शिष्य, केवल एक संत नहीं थे — वे भारत की आत्मा को जाग्रत करने वाले आध्यात्मिक शेर थे।
Swami Vivekananda, the foremost disciple of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, was not just a saint but a roaring spiritual lion who awakened India’s soul. Born as Narendranath Datta, he was driven by a deep thirst for truth. After meeting his guru Ramakrishna, his inner fire found direction. In 1893, he shook the world at the Parliament of Religions in Chicago with his iconic address — 'Sisters and Brothers of America'. Through this, he didn’t just represent Hinduism, he became the voice of universal spirituality. He believed that service to man is service to God, and founded the Ramakrishna Mission to uplift society through education, service, and spirituality. His teachings drew from Vedanta, yet his heart beat with the essence of all paths — bhakti, karma, jnana, and yoga. Though he left the body at only 39, his blazing words continue to inspire millions to rise, awaken, and serve. His life was a call to fearlessness, love, and spiritual strength.
